Planning the photo shoot.

Costume; I would want him to look smart but with a hint of mystery with himself too, but also because his music is rock/alternative he needs to look a bit tough and rough. For one he should wear a suit with a blazer too, this is to show the smartness that he would have, then I would want him to wear the typical kind of things such as a worn top and worn jeans showing that he is not well kept. This is to show the stereotypical idea that people would have people in rock. Or having him dress like someone such as Kurt Cobain and this would be because he would have been inspired by him.

Props; I would want him to have a guitar and a microphone; this is because it would have shown the type of music that he would have been into. Also I would have wanted him to have something else so we would have been able to mix it up a little bit and by doing this he would have been able to show what he would have been interested in by looking at what he would have brought and what would suit the magazine.

Setting; this would be in a blank background so that I would be able to play around with because I would want to be able to see what kind of things would look good on a magazine to express this genre of music as it would have been an unknown artist so that it would have been a way of showing what genre of music he would be involved with.

Facial expression; again would have to do more than one and this would have been because I would not be sure what one I would have wanted as I could have him looking serious but then I would want more than one with him looking into the future and looking at the camera. Also he should be smiling as he should show that he is happy with what he would be speaking about in the interview

Hair and makeup; I would only use makeup if he would have any blemishes as I could use this for me to be able to cover them up and also with the hair as he would have short hair he wouldn't have to do much with it. but I would still want him to look natural, this is because most of this music would have been acoustic which is a natural sound he would like to show this when he would have been looking for something which would have been able to reinforce this, so by having this and him looking natural with everything else he would be able to show that he would not have used any of the mixing equipment to make it sound different, he would just use the typical things which would have been on show.

Shot type; this would be a medium shot, this would have been because I would want to have some of his body in this so they would be able to see what he would have been wearing, this is something I would have used to be able to show what kind of music would have been inside of this magazine but I would want to use this because how I would be able to show that he is standing and what posture he is showing and that it would go with the genre of music I was trying to show.

Lighting; I would want it more of a dim light, this is to have more of a mysterious look about him as the light would not be that revealing as then he would be able to hide. I would like to have the light over half of him and then keep half of it hidden.
